Curiosities - Information
Taking photos is not a human exclusivity
ANOTHER MYTH FALLS APART
Sergio is 12 years old and since he was a baby he has been the adoptive son of Mandruca family. He likes painting, playing with teddy bears e takes a quick shower always before sleeps. He lives with Ana and Camila, few years younger than him, but he likes to sleep alone in his room, with all the comfort he enjoys. Sergio likes mobile phones and photo cameras. He also likes that his two mothers – Selma and Sonia – visit him in his room before he sleeps to tell him stories. He also likes TV, watch animal movies and soccer games.
Sergio is the first chimpanzee of Vargem Grande Paulista Sanctuary, near São Paulo, where he lives with Ana, Camila, Nino and Judy. He is a different chimpanzees, maybe the most evolved one in Brazil. In a lot of his reactions he is practically a human being. He is ashamed of his up teeth that are too long and go out of his mouth. He tries to hide them when anyone notices them. Sergio was born at former Garcia Circus. His mother, Lucy, and his father, Pinho, are still alive at Paraná and Sorocaba sanctuaries.
A few days ago, Serginho (little Sergio) – as everyone know him – took the mobile of his adoptive mother Selma and started to take pictures, like she was doing. Using his ability, he took photos of himself, like it is shown here.
Those who think that only Homo sapiens knows how to take pictures are completely wrong, because Sergio, who is a Homo (Pan) troglodyte, also does it, and if He his trained, maybe can do better than a lot of sapiens who think they are the owners of the Universe.
